Time Line
1917. July 4. A side collision of a Manistee Railway trolley car into a M&NE train kills 3 and injures 20. The accident was caused by the motorman railing to keep their train under control while descending a grade approaching the crossing, unable to stop for a passing train. ICC Report [PDF]
