Gould City was a station stop on the MStP&SSM (Soo Line) in Mackinac County, eighteen miles northeast of Gulliver.

Time Line
1909. After several years of fighting, the Soo Line railroad has moved its depot from Corinne to Gould City, a distance of 1.5 miles. It has been a long struggle by the two towns to convince the railroad that each had the most business and therefore entitled to the stopping of trains. [BBAN-1909-0617]
1917. The MStP&SSM had an agent here on the day shift. [TRT]
