Snowshoe, MI was a location on the railroad line between Mohawk mine and the mill at Gay, MI. This location was also known as Snowshoe curve.

Time Line
1943. John Hendrickson, 68 of Gay was injured fatally Friday afternoon in a collision of Copper Range railroad handcars at Snowshoe curve. Two other men were injured. [SJH-1943-1113]
