Notes

Time Line

1906. The depot of the Mineral Range railroad, which was located at Allouez was, after great effort, placed aboard a flat car and then moved to Wolverine location, a distance of one and a half miles, in sixteen minutes. At places along the route stones on the embankment had to be cut away to permit this unique load to pass. As soon as the building is placed in commission at Wolverine the former Wolverine depot will be moved to Hubbell. [DFP-1906-1206]
