Dewey was a station on the Detroit & Milwaukee (later Grand Trunk Western) Detroit to Grand Haven line, about six miles east of downtown Grand Rapids.

Industry
Three oil refineries were operated in Dewey at the same location, between 1932 and 1935. Kent Refining (1932-1935) ⇒ Tiger refining (1936) ⇒ Imperial Refining (1937-1940) ⇒ Midwest Refining (1940-1941). The facility was served by the GTW railroad. [MW]
