Location: Grand River Bridge, Grand Rapids, MI - (CSX)
This bridge is currently used by the CSX over the Grand River, between Wealthy Street and US-131. The bridge originally had two tracks but only one track is used at this time.
Originally built for the Pere Marquette, it was also used by the New York Central and the Pennsylvania, followed by Conrail.

Time Line
1902. A steel bridge with draw span is being erected over the Grand River. [MCR-1902]
1907. Steamboat service on the Grand River at this location ends and the bridge is locked in place.
