Location: Penn Junction, MI

Penn Junction was the overhead crossing of the Grand Trunk Western line to Grand Haven, over the Grand Rapids & Indiana branch from Grand Rapids to Muskegon, in western Kent County. This was located in what is now known as the City of Walker. In addition to the overhead crossing, the GTW connected to the GR&I (PRR) line to reach Muskegon through trackage rights after their own east-west line to Muskegon (via Sparta) was truncated at various points.
