Station: Portage, MI
Portage was a station on the LSMS/ NYC Grand Rapids Branch about seven miles south of downtown Grand Rapids. The LSMS/ NYC had a 54 car passing track here in 1915. The first white settlers arrived here in 1830. [MPN]
