Location: Jackson, MI - JL&S Facilities

The Jackson, Lansing & Saginaw railroad began building north from Jackson to Mackinaw City in 1866. The road established facilities along their line just north of the Michigan Central railroad in Jackson. This included a yard and roundhouse.

After the J&LS was leased to the MC, these facilities were downgraded and then sold to other businesses. The small yard remained for interchange with the Grand Trunk, which was located adacent.
