Location: Crystal Falls Hill, MI

Called the "trickest" on the C&NW division in Crystal Falls, the hill is located on the old Schaeffer branch, coming down off the Tobin Mine, down through town, cutting across Main Street. It is tricky because the rules require that the Main Street crossing muyst be "flagged", which usually requires a stop coming down the hill. The Milwaukee Road "Wooden Shoe" run also uses this track near its depot.

Notes

The hill pitches abruptly at Third street, and the tracks take a long-curving dive down over street crossings, and around, past the Milwaukee Road's depot, and down to the C&NW yards at the foot of the hill.
