Relic: D&M stone depot

Location: Harrisville, north of downtown along tracks

What's There: The former Detroit & Mackinac Ry. stone depot, now restored (2014).

Longitude/Latitude:  44o.39.742N - 83o.17.17.453W

Vision: ...embarking on a shopping trip to Bay City on the morning southbound passenger train.


Ruin: D&M water tower base

Location: Harrisville, north of downtown along tracks

What's There: Remains of the D&M's water tower for filling locomotives. Across from the depot (see above), west side of the railroad right-of-way.

Longitude/Latitude:  44o.39.742N - 83o.17.17.453W

Vision: ...filling the tender of your locomotive for the remainder of your trip north to Alpena.
