Station: Lincoln, MI (West Harrisville)
Lincoln, originally known as West Harrisville, was settled in 1885 on the original main line of the Detroit, Bay City & Alpena Railroad. It was renamed Lincoln in 1899 and became a village in 1907. [MPN]

Time Line
1901. The D&M built a cutoff along Lake Huron to Harrisville. After that point, the line through Lincoln became a branch line and rail service north of Lincoln was abandoned. The town was reached for another 30 years as a branch from Lincoln Junction.
