Notes

This railroad was charged in 1869. On charter, the road had four individual stockholders and the LS&MS railway.

The road was leased on May 1, 1887 to the LS&MS during the full term of the corporate existence, the Lake Shore to secure the bonds of the said company to the amount of $400,000 and to pay a nominal rental. The capital stock is practically all owned by the LS7MS railway company. The road had 36.54 miles completed in Michigan and 8.15 miles of sidings and spurs. [MCR-1904]
