Notes

An electric street railway which operated between Iron River, Stambaugh, Bates Township and Crystal Falls. This was the last electric traction line built in the state and was one of the first to end in 1921. The railroad never reached Crystal Falls because sufficient ridership was never available for the funding of the extension.

The railroad began in Iron River, looped around town and then south to Stambaugh and then southeast to Gaastra. It doesn't appear to have reached Caspian. After 8 years of service, the line closed in 1921. The railroad's cars came used from Chicago. {CERA]
