Railroad: Grand Rapids, Holland & Chicago Railway Company

The Grand Rapids, Holland & Chicago railway was organized in 1904 to take over operation from the Holland & Lake Michigan as well as the Grand Rapids, Holland & Lake Michigan. It operated lines from Grand Rapids (via the city lines) to Holland and on to Macatawa. It also had a branch to Saugatuck. This electric railroad operated until it was abandoned in 1926 and 1927.
