Railroad: Corlies and Thunder Bay Train Railway Company, The

The Corlies & Thunder Bay Train railway was a logging road which was built in 1864 from Thunder Bay in Alpena seven miles into the forests. It was abandoned in 1868. The eastern 1.6 miles near Alpena was used by the Boyne City, Gaylord & Alpena to reach Thunder Bay. [MRL]
