Mechanical equipment consists of one pair of 2060" duplex, reverse, Corliss first motion hoisting engines; oine drum 10' in diameter, 9' face, grooved for 1 3/8" rope, equipped with automatic throttle closing device and operating steam brake. Two skips and two cages are operated in balance. Skip capacity is 5 tons.
