Method: Underground, worked by shrinkage and underhand stoping method. Greatest depth is 1,900 feet.

Railroad connection: LS&I to Presque Isle, C&NW to Escanaba.

Until: 1950 or later

Lifetime Production: 1,505,584 tons between 1932-1950.
