1908. August. Orders have been received to place on the active list the Munro Mine of the Buffalo & Susquehanna Steel company. Manager Woodworth was in town last Friday and issued the necessary orders. Camp. Harry McDermott was placed in charge of operations and the work of unwatering the property has commenced. It will be ten days before it will be possible to hoise ore, but a considerable force of men is already at work. It is proposed to employ as large a force of men as can be worked to advantage - not less than 100. [IMP-1908-0827]
