Boston Mine was operated by the Albany & Boston Mining Company northeast of the Quincy Mine (Hancock). It was a served by the Mineral Range (later DSS&A) between Hancock and Calumet. The mine was first worked in 1860 with one shaft. It was reported not to be profitable.
