Notes

The Palms Mine was located east of Bessemer, between the Tilden Mine and west of the Anvil Mine. It was operated by the Newport Mining Company.


Time Line

 1923. The Youngstown Sheet & Tube Co. consolidated the Anvil and Palms mines with the Keweenaw (or North Anvil) and Massie (or Houghton County) leases into the present Anvil-Palms-Keweenaw Group.
