About the Michigan Railroad History Conference
The Michigan Railroad History Conference has been presented periodically since it was started in 1987. The Conference is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which is led by volunteer historians. Conference presentations are also made by volunteers who have researched various aspects of railroad history, with particular emphasis on railroads serving Michigan. The Michigan Roundtable of the Lexington Group in Transportation History is an advisory body to the Conference.
