Rockwell yard is a Belt Railway of Chicago facilities which was leased by the Pere Marquette.
1945. PM freight and switching locomotives are housed and serviced at the Belt Railway of Chicago's Clearing terminal.
1945. A diesel engine house is being erected by the PM on property leased by the Belt Railway of Chicago at Rockwell Street Yard to be used housing and servicing four diesel switchers expected to be delivered in October, 1945 and assigned to Pere Marquette service in the Chicago area. [PM45]
