Millersburg. The former passenger and freight station in Millersburg, located on Linden and Luce streets in the village. Onaway. American Wood Rim offices at 20864 Washington Street. This is the former headquarters for a number of companies which operated under the American Wood Rim organization. This company made steering wheels and bike rims for the automobile industry until the plant burned down in 1926. This was the only building which remained after the fire. The plant was served by the Detroit & Mackinac railway, as well as the Onaway & Northern logging road, owned by American Wood Rim. Onaway. Awakon Park is a private park located at 20855 Washington Street and incorporates what is left of the former American Wood Rim ruins after the devastating 1926 fire. The park also displays statutes of a number of public figures including the founder of Onaway. The park is associated with artist Tom Moran and his Moran Iron Works company in Onaway.
