Extant Depots and Facilities are old railroad facilities which continue to exist today. "Extant" means "currently in existence, living, or not destroyed". It is most frequently used as the exact opposite of extinct.
This category was designed to help the viewer identify existing depots and other historical railroad buildings, coaling towers, roundhouses, railroad yards, bridges which can be viewed today. They are listed by the county they reside in.
