All aboard for fall fun in Hillsdale! We're excited to partner with the City of Hillsdale and Hillsdale Renaissance for the very first Hillsdale Railroad Festival!

On Saturday, October 11th, we'll be offering train rides to Crossroads Farm in Reading, Michigan, for outdoor games, crafts, concessions, face painting, and more during a one-hour layover, and admission is included in every ticket!

Starting at 5:30 PM, explore the vintage train, enjoy live music, food trucks, and local vendors at the Hillsdale Block Party — free and open to the public.

Each trip will feature historic Nickel Plate Road steam locomotive no. 765 and multiple ticket classes, including Deluxe Coach, Open Window, First Class, and Pullman Car options.

Located at the junction of the Fort Wayne & Jackson and the Lake Shore & Michigan Southern, this once bustling railroad town on the New York Central system last saw regular passenger trains in 1956.

Ticket sales for the Hillsdale Railroad Festival start Wednesday at 6:00 PM.
