Timetable: Lake Superior & Ishpeming - Main Line - Eagle Mills to Ishpeming Yard

This single track main line was built in 1907 to replace the original main line between Queen Mine via Jackson Mine to Negaunee and Ishpeming.

October 9, 1896. The Superior Iron Co. at Ishpeming has begun to remove 22 dwellings from the territory over which the Lake Superior & Ishpeming railway will be extended. [Yale Expositor-2896-1019]
