Station: Edgemere, MI

Edgemere was located on the Copper Range railroad Freda Branch, four miles east of Freda in Houghton County, along the Lake Superior shore. It was one mile west of Redridge and 1/2 mile from Beacon Hill.


Notes

Edgemere was the home of the Adventure Mine stamp mill.

The Copper Range railroad had two framed trestles at Edgemere, one 173' and the second 500'. Both were built in 1902.
