Location: Foremans, MI

Foremans was located on the Grand Rapids & Indiana railroad at milepost 423.0, north of Walloon Lake Junction. The location also had a spur known as the Bear River spur.

From this location, the GR&I was double tracked north through Petoskey to Ko-go-mic, the junction of the line northwest to Harbor Springs.

Time Line

1903. Foremans also had a 3-stall brick roundhouse which was built in 1903 and used princiipally for commuter trains. These trains extended south to Walloon Lake and north to Harbor Springs and Alanson.
