Station: Lovells, MI

MC Lovells Depot Lovells is a hamlet on the Au Sable River in northeast Crawford County. The Michigan Central located a station here on their Lewiston Branch in 1889. [MPN] It is about 18 miles northeast of Grayling. The railroad had a 1,145' passing siding here in 1911.

Time Line

1892. This line was built through Lovells in 1892 by the Grayling, Twin Lakes & Northwestern railroad, which was owned by the Michigan Central. The line was abandoned in 1933. [MRL]
