Station: Willow, MI

Willow Depot Willow was a station stop on the Pere Marquette railroad in Huron Township, Wayne County about 1872. It was about one mile north of Waltz. [MPN] In 1898 it was a flag stop.

Time Line

1924 - Application having been made by the Pere Marquette Railway Com pany to close and discontinue its station at Willow, Wayne County, Michigan ; and the same having been brought on to be heard and the testimony having been duly taken therein ; and it appearing that due notice of said application was given to the Supervisor of Huron Township, Wayne County, Michigan; and that said Pere Marquette Railway Company now maintains a siding at Willow and that the same has been used by ship pers within the last year: and the same having been duly considered :

Now, THEREFORE It is HEREBY ordered by the Michigan Public Utilities Commission, That said Pere Marquette Railway Company be and it is hereby authorized and empowered to close and discontinue its station at Willow, provided, however, that said Pere Marquette Railway Company shall continue to maintain its side track or siding at Willow for the convenience of shippers until the further order of the Commission.
