Bridge: Huron River Bridge/Dam, Flat Rock, MI - (DT&I)

This is a combined railroad and highway bridge and dam which was constructed of reinforced concrete in 1928. The bridge carries two tracks of the DT&I (now CN) and vehicle industrial traffic. The dam formally served as a Ford Motor Company power plant. The spillway is ten feet. The bridge is 535' long, 45' wide and has 18 spans. [LPM]
