Location: Inland Junction, MI

Inland Stone Diesel Inland Junction was located on the very southeast edge of Schoolcraft County on the Soo Line railroad (later WC/CN). The industrial Inland Quarry railroad crossed over the Soo Line here and had a junction as well for interchange of cars. The junction had a wye from the Inland line to the Soo in both directions, with a storage track located on both legs for interchange. This is also known as Soo Junction.

Time Line

1931. The MPUC authorizes the MStP&SSM to discontinue its agency station at Blaney Jct., provided that its agency station at Inland Junction is continued. [MPUC-1931]
