Grand Rapids GTW depot xxxxxxxx Grand Rapids GTW depotGrand Rapids GTW depotThe forerunner to the Grand Trunk Western was the first railroad to arrive in Grand Rapids and they built their depot in this location which ended up being north of the then-downtown area. All of the other railroads in Grand Rapids used Union Station but the GTW had their own facility.

1917. The GTW had an agent and operator here on all shifts "RA". They also had an agent and operator on two shifts at "GR'. The actual locations have not been determined.. [TRT]
