Notes

This line was primarily a tourist operation.

According to the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, the Leelanau Scenic Railroad Co. was formed in 1985 as a domestic profit corporation. It was disolved in 1998. The registered agent was from Traverse City. [LARA]

It is not known whether this corporation was an actual railroad, or simply used the tracks of the C&O.
