Railroad: Cadillac & Northeastern

The Cadillac & Northeastern was a lumber railroad owned by the Cummer Lumber Company. [MRL] It was built in 1884 and operated 13 miles from Lake Cadillac downtown Cadillac in Wexford County to Lake City in Missaukee County. The line operated until deforestation in 1892 when it was abandoned.
