Port of Muskegon

The Port of Muskegon is located on Lake Michigan 25 miles northwest Grand Rapids. Used for a variety of products including incoming coal, this port is most famous for its involvement in Michigan forest products. Much of the lumber used to build Chicago likely came from this port.
