Port of Presque Isle

The Port of Presque Isle is located on the south shore of Lake Superior three miles north of downtown Marquette. This port receives coal for a power plant which serves the upper pensinsula and ships out taconite iron products to steel companies in Gary, Indiana, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Detroit and Cleveland.
