Above, the MC depot at Cheboygan in the early 1900's.  [Dale Berry collection]  Below, two views of the joint NYC/D&M passenger station in Cheboygan in 1967.  [Charles Geletzke]

Above, a 2003 photo of the former Detroit & Mackinac Railway freight "house" at Cheboygan.  The building is a former troop car and it has recently been repainted.  It served as an office for the D&M freight agent, and was particularly busy before the D&M bought the MCRR line up the center of the state.  Prior to that purchase, the D&M ended at Cheboygan, where the road served the paper plant.  [Jim Fulkerth photo].  Below, another shot of the freight house, taken on August, 1987.  [Dennis Schmidt]

Below, another view of the engine house.  The track going off to the right leads to the Cheboygan waterfront.  In the early days, passengers departed from the docks for Mackinac Island.  [Charles Geletzke]
