Grosvenor Grosvenor Road, 1 mile N of US-223 |
Remains of the former NYC Fayette Branch. This location was originally a crossing of the Old Road by the Canada Southern, then it became a wye junction when the line was cut back to a branch. |
Vision... The Morenci local, which ran with a few cars every day from Adrian and onto the branch at Grosvenor and returned later that day. Usually powered by a switch engine. |

The Holloway depot has been moved here and is now a private residence. |

Diamond crossing of the Jackson Branch and the Monroe Branch (now gone). Probably the 1st rail crossing in the State of Michigan, the diamond was installed in 1840l. Diamond is still there, though not the original. |
Vision... local farmers bringing wood from the forests to the railroad to sell to them for locomotive fuel. |
