Hillsdale

The old Lake Shore & Michigan Southern (later New York Central) brick depot.

Vision... waiting for the westbound passenger train, pulled by a 4-4-0 to go to the new town on Chicago, in the 1850's.

Vision... the dispatcher authorizing train orders for trains at stations along the Fort Wayne Branch to Jackson.

Vision... loading bags of grain into box cars for the trip to Detroit on the NYC Ypsilanti Branch.

The old NYC depot, which is now a house.  Located on the right of way, just east of downtown.

Vision... the station agent picking up a bag of mail which was thrown off an eastbound express train from Chicago.

Vision... less-than-carload freight waiting on the platform for the next local freight.

Moscow

The DT&M depot, which now houses the Moscow Township offices.  North side of US-12 downtown.

Vision... the agent keeping two sets of books, one for the NYC (south) and one for the Michigan Central (north).  This was the division point after the DT&M was cut back to Battle Creek.
