The Southern Michigan Railroad Society has two cars on their line south of Raisin Center.  The above unit is a former CSS&SB interurban car.  The caboose below is owned by the farmer at the location and is the Grand Trunk Western 75026.  Both photos, 2002. [Dale Berry]

The two photos above and below were taken in 2002 at the railroad's Clinton headquarters.  The GMD-3 is a unique diesel hydraulic locomotive, currently being refurbished.  The caboose (or waycar in Michigan Central terms) is the former NYC 21692, a N-7a class built in 1952.  It is similar to the cars used on the NYC Clinton Branch up and until the 1980's.  [Dale Berry photos] [Information from Lance Charter]
