The Jackson & Northern Railway was a three foot wide narrow gauge line which generally paralleled the Grand Trunk Western north from the City of Jackson.  Line line started at the Bennett Sewer Pipe Company in Jackson and travelled to a quarry in Blackman Township.  The line crossed the GTW Jackson Branch at Michigan Air Line Crossing.  The map above is drawn from a 1907 Sanborn Insurance map.  [Graphics by Mark Worrall]
