Comments on RRHX Bulletin Board ("Dave Kindem") posted 1/11/2004:  An article from the Grand Haven Tribune from 1907 indicates that one of the Eppworth dummy locomotives had been purchased from the Grand Haven Street Railway.  The GRSR used dummies on a line to Highland Park, near Lake Michigan from 1895 until 1903 when the Grand Haven and Muskegon Railway bought the line and upgraded it for electric cars.  Both operations (Grand Haven and Eppworth) were fairly late for steam dummy locomotives.
