Postal Stamps Gallery

Michigan's Internet Railroad History Museum

Railroad postal stamps and railway post offices were very common during the passenger train era in the United States.

The hobby of Michigan postal history is coordinated by the Peninsular State Philatelic Society.

Railway postmarks can be found wherever used post cards are sold.  Check out used book stores, antique shows and shops, post card and paper shows, and stamp shows.  Covers (mailed envelopes) are also sold through auctins and mail bid sales.

The largest stamp show in the United States will be held in Grand Rapids in the summer of 2005 and is sponsored by the American Philatelic Society.  They can be reached at 100 Match Factory Place, Bellefonte, PA  16823.
