Location:  At Ironwood on the fractional S. 1/2 of S.W. 1/4, Section 22, and fractional N. 1/2 of N.W. 1/4, Section 27, T. 47, R.47.

Purchased in 1901 by te Cleveland-Cliffs Iron Company.  Second largest mine on the Gogebic range in 1902.

Produced 301,824 tons or ore in 1902.

New steel chart went into operation July 1, 1902.
