Location: Rouge River Short Cut Channel Bridge, River Rouge, MI (DC)
This is a bascule bridge which was built in 1922 during the Henry Ford/DT&I era. It was modified in the 1950's. It connects the Delray Connecting Railroad between Zug Island, River Rouge and downriver. The bridge is a distinctive green in color with a concrete interlocking tower.
