June 1 - September 28, 2008. The Michigan Transit Museum operates on Sundays from June 1st to September 28, 2008. Trains leave the caboose ticket office at Joy Park in Mt. Clemens off of Joy Road, East of Gratiot on the hour from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (The 4th trip does not drop passengers off at the Air Museum). Visit the club's HO scale, highly scenic, DCC-equipped layout in the former Grand Trunk Millet depot. Afterwards, step back in time, at Woldumar, to see more model train displays, the 7th Michigan Volunteer Infantry, Lansing and Looking Glass River Muzzleloaders, pioneers and Native Americans, live farm animals, Grand Ledge Woodcarvers, antique gas engines, blacksmithing, wagon rides, and much more! 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Admission is free for the Lansing Model Railroad Club while adults $5 and children free for Woldumar.
